Purpose and benefits

The Internet has completely changed the job-search process, and savvy job hunters incorporate the Web as an important resource to explore. This action list assumes that you already have some basic computer knowledge, including the ability to create your CV on the computer using a text program such as Microsoft Word; the ability to use a browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape; and the ability to send and receive e-mail. It is also helpful if you know how to create web pages or have someone who can do that for you.
