Kurt Lewin by
            Bloomsbury

Purpose and benefits

Kurt Lewin made an extremely important contribution to the study of group dynamics. He was also a key figure in the establishment of the human relations school of management.

He was responsible for ground-breaking research that suggested that a democratic style of leadership was more effective than an autocratic one, for an influential method of behavioural analysis that laid the foundations for later work on change management, and for the development of T-groups as a means of bringing about change and resolving conflicts.
