
Purpose and benefitsStan Davis is an independent author, speaker, and consultant best known for linking fundamentals of science and technology to likely futures in business and management. He is Senior Research Fellow of the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Center for Business Innovation in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A widely-read author, Davis has written three books with Christophre Meyer: "Blur: The Speed of Change in the Connected Economy" (Perseus, 1998) and "Future Wealth" (Harvard Business School Press, 2000) with Christopher Meyer. His third book with Meyer, "It’s Alive" was published in 2003. In this article, Davis reflects on the challenges facing leadership in the face of global terrorist threats and recession. |
