Cope with Discrimination by
            Bloomsbury

Purpose and benefits

Discrimination against individuals on the basis of their race, age, gender, cultural background, or physical/mental impairment is unlawful. In the United Kingdom, legislation to prevent discrimination on the basis of age is due to be implemented in 2006; until then, a code of practice has been drawn up for employers to follow. However, not all employers obey the rules, and enforcing the law can be a nightmare in itself.

Everyone has an equal right to employment with fair remuneration in an environment that is free from discrimination. There are few experiences more depressing than being treated unfairly because of who you are. Fortunately, there are established ways in which you can tackle any type of discrimination and bring the nightmare to an end.
