Described by "The Economist" as a ‘EuroGuru’, the Indian business academic Sumantra Ghoshal is now professor of strategic leadership at the London Business School. He is best known for his work with Harvard’s Christopher Bartlett.

Their books, "Managing across Borders: The Transnational Solution" (1988)—named by the "Financial Times" as one of the 50 most influential business books of the century—and "The Individualized Corporation" (1997), have cemented their place among the world’s most influential business thinkers. (In 2001, Ghoshal was ranked 12th in ‘The Thinkers 50’, the first global ranking of business thinkers.)
