Purpose and benefitsMargaret Wheatley earned her liberal arts undergraduate degrees at the University of Rochester (New York) and University College, London. After spending time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Korea and working as an educator and administrator for many years, she earned her doctorate from Harvard and worked for two different consulting firms in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her books include 'Leadership and the New Science', 'A Simpler Way' (co-authored with Myron Kellner-Rogers), and most recently ' Turning to One Another: Simple Conversations to Restore Hope To The Future'. Today, she is president of The Berkana Institute (Provo, Utah); she also consults and speaks widely. |
